In this new and special article, we'll be talking about the magic of traveling and exploring new places. Most of our audience has surely traveled at least once, but some have never had the chance to do so. So, we're going to share the experience of traveling to the place we're focusing on: Thailand! This article contains detailed facts as well as important information.

First, let's talk about the flight. Since this is a very long journey, stopovers are necessary. Departing from Bogotá, the flight goes to London, which takes about 11 hours. Then, from London to Bangkok, it adds another 12 hours. The airline service was really good, and the food was amazing! The only remaining flight is from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. That flight was short, calm, and smooth.

When we arrive at the hotel on the outskirts of the city, it is located in a rural area filled with a variety of flowers. It is really beautiful. A fun fact is that in Thailand, there are many temples dedicated to various gods and Buddhists. These are very important to Thai culture; you can see statues or altars every two blocks. The food in Bangkok is delicious, often seasoned with spices and containing lots of fruits. If you can't eat or tolerate spicy food, you can request it without any spice! The most common mode of transportation there is the motorcycle. Thailand is a major producer of small motorcycles and scooters, but many people ignore traffic signs. The country is known for its safety and hot weather, so most locals wear light clothing that allows them to breathe and stay cool.

The architecture of buildings is marvelous, with intricate details, and some structures can even contain elephants, which are the national animal of Thailand. The only downside is that these popular sites can be crowded, making it hard to walk around. However, there is a transportation option called tuk-tuk. It is mainly used by foreigners, but Thai people also use them regularly. Another interesting fact is that there are many spas, as people enjoy relaxing. Each spa has its own techniques, so you can choose from a variety of options!

Fun fact: Marijuana and other substances are legal in Thailand, but recently their use has been regulated to medical or health purposes. Some foreigners visit Thailand specifically to use these substances.

Thai girls are often seen in relationships with foreigners and tend not to be with Thai men. Thai women are very organized and take relationships seriously, making them good partners.

As mentioned before, temples are very sacred and have specific rules for visitors. These include no shoes indoors, no revealing clothing, no smoking, and some temples even prohibit photography. If you plan to visit Thailand and enjoy its food, it won't be too expensive. The cuisine is quite affordable and offers a lot of variety. The same goes for clothing—it's inexpensive and of good quality, making it easy to access.

Thailand relies heavily on tourism, and most people there speak English, which makes communication easier. The beaches are stunning, often surrounded by lush plants and flowers, giving them a surreal appearance.

Regarding expenses, transportation is considered costly, and accommodation has a moderate price.

In Thailand, physical touch or public displays of affection are uncommon. If someone engages in such interactions in public, they are likely to receive strange looks.

Here are some characteristics of Thai people:

  • They are generally of average height.
  • They have light skin tones.
  • They are typically slim.
  • Most people avoid wearing dark colors, as there is a saying that associates dark colors with death.
  • Overweight individuals are uncommon.
  • Thai women tend to weigh less than Thai men.
  • The population density is relatively high.

With this, we conclude the essential information that might be useful if you plan to visit Thailand. Have a pleasant trip!

Thailand is a beautiful and unique country; it’s worth visiting at least once!

Welcome to this article, where we will discuss the peculiarities, differences, and tips to make your trip outside the country an unforgettable experience. The art of traveling is something everyone should experience at least once, and this article is designed to help you understand different perspectives.

First things first, you'll need to decide which country you're going to visit. For this, I recommend watching videos and searching for useful information about that country to help you make an informed decision. For example, your trip could be to Zurich, Switzerland, known for its natural beauty and tranquility. This country has houses and towering mountains, so there are both pros and cons to consider.

Zurich is considered one of the cities with the highest quality of life and is also one of the most expensive. Additionally, Bern is the beloved capital of Switzerland. The country is known for its conservation efforts and the Alps, which cover most of its territory. Ski lovers will never get bored, as there are many activities related to this hobby.

The best time to visit Switzerland is during Christmas, when the streets are filled with glowing, bright lights, and cheerful, warm smiles. Most cities have skating rinks and various entertainment options. Traveling allows you to have new experiences and see wonderful places. A fun fact is that many travelers have confirmed that Swiss men are very clean and tidy, often dressed impeccably, and considered handsome. Women, on the other hand, are known for their great figures and striking blue eyes.

Regarding prices, Switzerland is considered expensive, but it offers many great benefits.

Leaving Switzerland aside, let's talk about another country: Italy, renowned for its food, such as pasta and pizza. For a trip to Italy, you can visit Rome, Venice, Milan, or Florence—some of the most popular tourist destinations. Visitors often feel safe and comfortable; they say the food is exceptional, and Italy’s rich history is one of the best in the world. The most visited tourist attractions include the Roman Coliseum and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which are iconic and representative landmarks.

Prices can vary depending on whether you want something more luxurious or simpler. Also, you'll need to walk a lot in these cities, or you can take the vaporetto (gondola) in Venice, which is popular among tourists.

I hope this information and these tips have been useful for your next trip, helping it to be everything you have dreamed of.

Traveling is a way to reconnect with diverse cultures and enjoy the experience with the people around you. A journey of connection, discovery, and family.

Traveling becomes a journey of discovery. Visiting Venezuela offers a chance of uncover deep roots connections between Colombia and Venezuela. These two neighboring countries share an important cultural history, and the experience of exploring them reveals just how intertwined their traditions and languages are.

The experience of going and returning was significant. Our day started very early as we headed to the airport, feeling rushed, nervous, and excited. We flew from Bogotá to Riohacha, and from there, we informed Colombia’s migration office about our departure from the country using our passports. After arriving in Riohacha, we traveled by car to Maicao, and from Maicao to Maracaibo, Venezuela. When we reached the border, we went to the Venezuelan migration offices, where our passports were stamped to allow our entry. It wasn’t a complicated process, but the guards did proceed to check our equipment and the vehicle we were traveling in, which made the ambience tense and uncomfortable. Thankfully, that moment pass, and we arrived happily at our relative's home.We stayed there for about seven days, and during our visit, we traveled to some very well-known beaches called Playas Tucacas, located outside of Maracaibo. The trip took 8 hours, however it was completely worth it. I went with my parents, my brothers, and my cousin, who is originally from Venezuela but had been staying in Colombia for a few months.

In my memories, this journey will never be forgotten. I had the best time with people I truly enjoy being around, gather anew with my distant family and becoming more familiar with the traditions, manners, and culture of my Venezuelan roots. Venezuela, much like Colombia, is full of warmth, color, and life. It made me feel connected to both my Colombian record and the Venezuelan side I was now rediscovering.
